There was a period when everything slowed but nothing stopped.

Work continued. Messages moved. The only difference was that the noise receded. Decisions were made without spectacle. Corrections happened without announcement.

They called it a phase, though it lasted longer than expected.

Clothing adjusted to the tempo. It did not lead, nor resist. It adapted to repetition.
